Dr Pieter Johannes Venter

Natural Fertility Wonder is the brain-child of Dr Pieter Johannes Venter. He has been treating couples who suffer from infertility by curing the cause of it with natural homeopathic medicine. Born and bred in Johannesburg, Dr Venter studied Bsc Pharmacy at the Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education (now known as the University of the North-West, Potchefstroom Campus). He furthered his studies with four years and qualified as a Homeopath in 1979 at the Homeopathic Medical College of South Africa.

1. Why did you decide to further your studies in Homeopathic Medicine?

My grandmother was a nurse during the Anglo-Boer War and she concentrated on using Homeopathic medicine from a German doctor called Samual Hahnemann.

I remember how she was able to cure my warts and keep them from coming back when I was a child - something other doctors couldn’t do. I think that’s when my fascination with homeopathic and alternative medicine started.

2. You have been practicing Homeopathic medicine for 30 years now. Why do you find it so effective?

My father always said the proof of the pudding is in the eating. I can see the success of Homeopathic medicine in the results of my patients. Homeopathy is natural and it doesn’t only cure or subdue the symptoms of the illness but gets to the root of the problem and delivers permanent healing. It encompasses the natural process of stimulation of the body’s own healing processes. Over the past 30 years I have seen it time and again, patients struggling with illnesses that other/normal medicine can not cure – being permanently cured by homeopathic remedies. Some of the results are miraculous and even unexplainable!

3. Why do you say some of the results are miraculous?

I’ve seen it with so many patients. For example, I had a lady come to see me for kidney stones. A couple of other doctor’s couldn’t successfully treat her for this. At that stage she was already 46 years old and also informed me that she hasn’t menstruated since the age of 30 after which she also stopped using any form of contraception. After a month on my Homeopathic treatment, she was cured from the kidney stones but also found out that she was pregnant. This convinced me that whatever the state of the disease – if you stimulate the person’s own “vital force” – you stimulate processes in the body to heal your body to function the way it should.
There was a young lady who came to see me when she was 26 and told me that she has never menstruated. After using the right Homeopathic treatment she not only started menstruating normally, she also fell pregnant shortly after.

4. What part does Iridology play in your treatment?

It plays an extremely important role. By definition Iridology is a science whereby the doctor can tell from markings or signs in the iris (the coloured part) of the eye what the condition of the various organs of the body are. In other words, it is the skill of determining acute, sub-acute, chronic and critical stages in the affected organs of the body through their corresponding areas in the iris of the eye.
I use Iridology as a quick non-invasive tool to see where the problems in the body lie. It isn’t 100% accurate but it is very effective.

5. In 1984 you created a stir in the media with a weight loss program called K-loss-16?

Yes, I helped Carel van Aswegen loose 169kg in 8 months. He went from 289 kg to 120 kg through homeopathic medicine that I developed to specifically stimulate the pituitary gland which regulates the body’s hormonal system to help with weight loss. I also developed a diet that works together with the medicine to deliver staggering results. He got a lot of publicity in the Beeld, Rapport and Huisgenoot and I received calls from all over South Africa as well as abroad. People just wanted to get their hands on this program.

6. From weight loss to fertility… Where is the connection?

Like I said so many people were phoning to get the weight loss program and we probably sent 200 out a day and 80% of the orders were from woman. About a month later my phone started ringing with complaints from a lot of these women telling me that they were pregnant. Most of them confessed that they haven’t used any contraception in more than ten years because they didn’t menstruate anymore, thought they were infertile or in some cases, reached menopause.

I realised this program could help woman who struggled with infertility because there is a definite link between being overweight and temporary infertility. These ladies became pregnant because their weight and hormone levels stabilised and obviously because they were sexually active without using any contraception.

7. Why do you think there are so many women struggling with infertility today?

To me infertility is an illness of the body. It isn’t necessarily genetic; otherwise none of us would be here today. I believe our environment and lifestyle today plays an important role in the struggle of infertility. I will highlight a few factors:

  • SMOKING: 
    decreases the chances to fall pregnant by up to 50% and cuts fertility success with up to 50%.
  • PLASTIC PRODUCTS:
    Did you know that plastic affects it as well? Most of our foods are packaged with plastic that is poly carbonated. These chemicals mimic the female hormone oestrogen and become a competitive antagonist. In other words plastic chemicals have a similar structure as oestrogen and binds with the same receptors as natural oestrogen would. The “plastic” oestrogen keeps natural oestrogen from doing their work.
    In the male body it could suppress sperm production.
  • DIET: Our diets are unbalanced. People aren’t eating adequate amounts of fruits and vegetables, which ultimately leads to a shortage of nutrients which the body needs to sustain its proper functioning. For example without enough vitamins the body can’t process cholesterol into the hormone called progesterone. Without progesterone a fertilised egg won’t be able to develop further, in other words, the pregnancy cannot be sustained.
  • SUPPLEMENTS: People live with the misconception that any lost vitamins can be replaced by taking synthetic medicine, i.e. vitamin supplements. Unfortunately this is only a half-truth, the supplements that you buy (e.g. Vitamin C tablets) doesn’t nearly have the same absorption as the vitamin in its natural form (e.g. Vitamin C of an orange)
  • MISCELLANEOUS: Another reason can be is that couples wait longer before they get married or have children where my great grandmother for instance was married at 14 and had her children earlier; women now wait until their late 20’s.

8. Who should come and see you?

The women who come to see me at the moment are women who where on the verge of losing all hope. 95% of these women have seen many different doctors and have tried different treatments and started believing that this will never happen for them. When they hear about me from a different patient, they normally see me as their final option.
The success rate that I have seen with my treatment is extremely high and I want to encourage women out there who want to give up or maybe already gave up to come and see me. If you still desperately want children don’t loose hope!

9. What if the problem is with the male and not the female?

That is why I ask to see both the male and the female and treat both of them for what ever ailments they might have. In treating the male partner, homeopathic medicine will aim to increase the sperm count and viability, but, as with the females, a lot of different factors must be taken into account.

10. Do you promise pregnancy?

I always tell my patients that ONLY God can give life. It isn’t on everyone’s path to have children but it doesn’t mean that it is their fault; there is another purpose with your life. 
I am not a miracle doctor, I can help their bodies heal themselves naturally and if it is destined to be, they WILL have children in due time.

11. How do you treat infertility?

I treat infertility with a diet which stimulates ovulation and with Homeopathic medicines and injections that covers each of the aspects of infertility.

12. Procedure

Step 1:

Phone and make an appointment for you and your partner.
Step 2:

Dr PJ Venter will give you both a clinical examination as well as the non-invasive Iridology examination.
Step 3:

Treatment will commence depending on the findings from the examination. Treatment includes weekly injections and homeopathic medicine as well as the appropriate diet.
Step 4:

Return once a month for a repeat of the medicine if need be and a check-up.
